GALA Issues RFP for Subtitling Services
For the first time in its nearly 22 year history, GALA plans to subtitle its webinar and conference recordings. GALA has issued a request for proposals (RFP) which will be open until mid-January.
GALA is seeking proposals from GALA-member companies providing audiovisual localization services. The RFP specifies services for English subtitles, but the association will consider other services as well, including transcription, live captioning, and subtitling in other languages.
GALA's global audience has a high degree of English proficiency, yet some members have indicated they would appreciate having language support for GALA's live and recorded content. To demonstrate its commitment to accessibility and to delivering an outstanding member experience, GALA wishes to provide this service to its members and general audience.
