Sandeep Nulkar is the Founder & CEO of one of India’s oldest translation and localisation companies, BITS Private Limited. He recently founded the language technology start-up, Vernac Language Technologies.
A problem-solver at heart, Sandeep is a serial entrepreneur, columnist and author, who contributes on several government and academic committees and advisory boards. Sandeep has led various language industry-related initiatives at a personal and community level, and was the first Asian recipient of the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Language Industry Award’ at the Annual Language Industry Summit in London in 2016, and a winner of the prestigious Udyami Award for Entrepreneurship.
