Interpreting Technology and AI

In our February meeting, we will explore how technology-enhanced and AI solutions are influencing the field of interpretation in a user, interpreter and LSP perspective. 

• What are the boundaries between human and tech / AI driven solutions? 
• Where and how to apply AI tools, how to evaluate their performance and manage user expectations? 

In this open conversation we will share insights and experiences.
We will close the meeting sharing ideas as we look forward to the GALA 2024 Valencia Unconference.
 

About the Interpreting SIG

This SIG will work to identify the unique issues, needs, and challenges in the interpreting and technologies segment and will explore collaborative solutions to advance the interpreting sector as a whole. Meetings are not recorded.
