Leonora Adidi – Linguist & Cultural Consultant
2M Language Services
Leonora Adidi is a Torres Strait Islander from the Suy-Baydham Clan of Bamaga and Saibai. She is a linguist, fluent in Kalaw Kawaw Ya and Yumplatok, a Certified Provisional Interpreter (CPI) in both languages, and passionate about preserving and revitalizing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage. Leonora specializes in language program management and design, teaching, translations, and resources development in Torres Strait Islander languages. She consults and lectures on Torres Strait culture, heritage and issues.
Tea Dietterich – CEO, 2M Language Services

Tea Dietterich is Founder and CEO of 2M Language Services. Tea has extensive experience working with First Nations languages and was instrumental in establishing an Indigenous interpreting service, the Kimberley Interpreting Service (today Aboriginal Interpreting WA), in Western Australia in 2000. Tea played a critical role in promoting the rights of Aboriginal people to the services of interpreters in the Kimberley Region. Tea is former GALA Board Member, current President and Chair of the Australasian Association of Language Companies (AALC), sits on the NAATI Regional Advisory Council and leads the 2M Management Board and its Australian and international business units in Europe, Asia and LATAM. Tea is a regular guest speaker and MC at domestic and international industry conferences & export seminars, writes regularly for industry magazines and has been featured in the Australian Financial Review and on Sky News Business Class program.
Denise Viray – First Nations Project Manager
2M Language Services
Denise leads First Nations projects, navigating daily challenges and devising practical solutions in order to fulfill requests. She oversees linguist and other vendor relationships and adherence to quality standards, as well as scope and budget assessment and progress monitoring according to 2M’s Indigenous language project strategy. One of her main responsibilities is sourcing qualified Indigenous talent across Australia and NZ. This includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia and Māori, the tangata whenua, who are the indigenous people of Aotearoa. Denise is also active in building relationships with communities and converting government objectives into tangible outcomes for First Nations communities.
