Katerina has over 25 years of experience in the industry, predominantly in quality management. In 2004, she founded Moravia Linguistic Services, a team of linguistic experts located around the globe. Under her leadership, the team designed and successfully implemented numerous customized and often complex quality management programs for both top industry brands and start-ups. In 2022, Katerina joined Argos Multilingual, a global language solutions provider with clients in the high-tech, life sciences, human resources, and financial industries. As the Global Quality Solutions Strategist, Katerina focuses on transforming the traditional approach to quality management seen as a set of separate quality-control tasks into client-centric quality programs. The shift involves engaging, empowering, and holding accountable key linguistic stakeholders throughout the project life cycle, while leveraging the cutting-edge technologies and innovations. Katerina actively engages in various initiatives aimed at exploring AI-assisted solutions in quality management, scrutinizing NMT and GenAI output quality and (auto-)post-editing data in relation to client-defined quality expectations. Her regular presentations and webinars are dedicated to sharing best practices in dynamic, use-case-driven quality management and advocating for user-focused quality principles. Katerina is a member of the MQM Council, an active member of Subcommittee F43.03 on Language Translation at ASTM International, and a regular contributor to various GALA's expert groups.

Daniel Zielinski has a university degree in translation and is managing director of Loctimize GmbH in Saarbrücken (Germany). He works as a consultant for translation and localization technologies and as a trainer holding training certificates for all relevant translation tools with more than 10 years of experience. He designs and develops training courses for translators, project managers, localizers and terminologists, and has organized and delivered numerous training courses and workshops worldwide. His consulting services include process analysis and tool configuration assessment, translation platform implementation and roll-out.

István Lengyel is the founder of BeLazy, the company that makes agile localization possible across the entire supply chain. Previously, he was one of the founders of Kilgray, the makers of memoQ, and held various positions in the company. He tried most roles in the industry: he worked as a translator, as Director for Customer Success for On Global Language Marketing, and as a consultant for Nimdzi Insights. He holds several degrees including a PhD in translation studies from the ELTE University of Budapest. He is passionate about technology, and believes that machine learning and artificial intelligence will have a much more far-reaching effect in the society than most of us would imagine.

Balázs Kis is one of the co-CEOs of memoQ. He is also one of the founders of the company. Balázs has decades of experince in IT, translation, and natural language processing. He has a degree in IT engineering and a PhD in applied linguistics. At the start of his career, he was a Microsoft systems engineer and trainer and one of the prominent Hungarian IT authors with over 20 titles published. He was also the head of research and development at MorphoLogic, a Hungarian company specializing in language technology research. He taught translation technology at the ELTE University of Budapest. He has massive experience in collaborative translation and project management. In the early years of memoQ, he was instrumental in product design - he is the author of the first design document of memoQ - and running the company. Later on, he became responsible for technical communication. Since memoQ became a shareholding company in 2016, he has been chairman of the board. From 2018, he was responsible for compliance matters at the company, until, in 2020, he was appointed one of the co-CEOs of the company. Balázs is passionate about educating both the professionals and the general public on translation, localization, and the technologies related to them.
