We are all very much aware of how important timely, clear and accurate communication is in a crisis setting. But, imagine not having timely, clear and accurate content in a language you can understand or a format you can access during a crisis or disaster. Translation clearly plays a really important role in crisis response. What about the other stages of crises and disasters? This talk will throw light on the potential of inter-, intra- and multimodal translation as a resilience-building tool.
