Enterprises want providers that can scale up fast, but have an issue committing to volumes. Language service providers (LSPs) try to deliver 100% on-time and become bottlenecks. This presentation will explore different strategies that LSPs apply to connect linguists to tasks and examine how making these strategies explicit, and reviews recurring, can positively impact scalability, client satisfaction, profitability, and stress levels. While vendor managers can drive the assignment strategy, project managers need to buy into it, and account managers need to expand their agreement terms with information that supports efficient assignment.
