GALA Announces 2026 Board Officers
January 27, 2026 — The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) is pleased to announce the election of its officers for 2026. The election took place at the January meeting of the Board of Directors, which comprises seven industry leaders who serve on a voluntary basis and guide the strategic direction of the association.
GALA is honored to welcome the following officers:
- Chair: Daniela D'Amato, Operations Manager at Creative Words. Daniela brings experience in global content strategy and operations.
- Vice Chair: Annelise Finegan, Academic Director at NYU’s School of Professional Studies, offers a strong academic perspective and longstanding commitment to professional development in the language industry.
- Secretary: Ralph Jung, Independent, contributes deep enterprise insight and operational leadership from his years in the industry and on enterprise teams.
- Treasurer: Viveta Gene, Principal Consultant at Gene Global Consulting, brings a finance-forward perspective shaped by years of experience in multilingual business operations.
These officers are joined by Board members:
- Jose Palomares (Past Chair), Senior Director of Global Experience at Coupa Software.
- Viviana Bernabé, Accessibility Solutions & Interpretation Leader at Welocalize, Inc.
- Francesca Sorrentino, Localization Director at Phrase.
