Manuela Goñi is an English into Spanish technical-scientific and sworn translator graduated from Instituto Superior Santo Domingo de Guzmán and Universidad Católica Argentina, respectively. She also holds a text editor certificate by Fundación Litterae. In 2022, she completed the Specialization in Audiovisual Texts and Accessibility at the Instituto Superior en Lenguas Vivas Sofía E. Broquen de Spangenberg. In September 2024, she became a clinical trial monitor after completing a course given by Fundación de Estudios Farmacológicos y de Medicamentos. She has collaborated with colleagues and worked as a freelance translator for companies and agencies specializing in medical and pharmaceutical translation for more than 10 years. Nowadays, she works as an internal medical translator at IQVIA for the English into Spanish (LATAM) combination.
Mara Fancello is an Italian medical translator at IQVIA Language Solutions. After years spent studying and working across Italy and abroad, she has been now working as a full-time medical & life-science translator for over a decade. She is a medical terminology enthusiast, and has a keen eye for consistency and quality checks. A few years ago, she settled back in her beloved island, where she very much enjoys the sea all-year round, and from where she travels as much as she can in her free time.
