CPSL is seeking a Localization Engineer to join our team in Spain. This is an almost 100% Home Office position designed to support our international operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Support our Project Management team in Boston (US) with the following technical tasks:

  • File Analysis & Scoping: Perform file analysis, word counts, and cost estimations using CAT tools.
  • Project Preparation: Prepare and "clean" complex files for translation, ensuring workflows are optimized.
  • Technical QA: Oversee technical Quality Assurance and the generation of final delivery files.
  • Engineering Support: Troubleshoot file issues across various formats (Office, PDF, InDesign, XML).

IF YOU HAVE…

  • A University degree, preferably in Translation, Interpreting, and/or Languages.
  • Spanish at a native level and English at a proficient level for internal communication.
  • Expertise in CAT Tools, specifically Trados Studio and Phrase.
  • Mastery of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and advanced PDF handling.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar localization or technical role.

AND YOU ALSO HAVE…

  • Basic knowledge of InDesign and Adobe tools; not afraid of XML/HTML structures.
  • Familiarity with Xbench and technical QA processes.
  • Experience with Machine Translation workflows as part of project prep.
  • Ability to work a shift adjusted to the US East Coast (12:00 – 20:00) and follow the US holiday calendar.
