Call for Papers – SAMVĀD 2026
CITLoB (Confederation of Interpreting, Translation, and Localisation Businesses) is pleased to announce the 6th edition of its International Conference, SAMVĀD 2026, tentatively scheduled for 29–30 October 2026 in Mumbai (In-Person; venue to be announced soon).
The theme of this year’s conference is:
“Beyond Borders: AI, Language & the Future of Global Content”
SAMVĀD 2026 will bring together industry leaders, language professionals, researchers, technology innovators, and policymakers to discuss the future of language, localization, and AI-driven global communication.
We invite submissions on a wide range of topics reflecting the diverse and evolving nature of the localization industry, including but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence in Localization
- Language Technology & Innovation
- Translation & Interpretation
- Multilingual Content Strategy
- Accessibility & Inclusive Communication
- Regional Language Enablement
- Future of Work in the Language Industry
- Global Content Delivery & Localization Trends
Selected presenters will have 15 minutes to present their paper, followed by a Q&A session.
