The Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI), University of Geneva (Switzerland) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for Course 3: Quantitative Methods, part of the Research Methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies (ReMeTIS) program.
 
This course introduces participants to quantitative research methods within the framework of Translation and Interpreting Studies (TIS) and related fields. Students will become familiar with survey design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation, with a focus on applying these methods to real-world TIS research projects. Participants will gain hands-on experience with statistical software packages used for quantitative research, particularly for statistical modeling and data analysis.

  • Format: Asynchronous, 100% online
  • Estimated workload: 50–60 hours

This course grants 2 ECTS credits, with an official certificate from the University of Geneva, one of the most experienced and renowned centers for translation and interpreting education and research in the world.
