Annual Survey Prizes

GALA is giving away two (2) prizes to participants who complete the Annual Survey! Eligible entrants will have the chance to win either:

  • One (1) free ad in the monthly GALA Global newsletter (GALA members), valued at up to USD $850, or
  • One (1) free professional membership (nonmembers), valued at USD $450

Official Contest Rules

By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree that they have entered the contest of their own free will. Neither GALA nor its affiliates or employees have any liability with respect to any damages arising from participation in the contest or acceptance and use of a prize.

Timeline

The contest period runs from 12 January – 23 January 2026 (11:59 p.m. PST). The winning entrants will be notified in February 2026.

All who submit their email address when completing the Annual Survey during the contest period are automatically entered into the drawing. 

Prize Details

Two (2) winners will receive one (1) of the following, depending on eligibility.

One (1) winner from an employee of a GALA member company:

  • One (1) free ad in the monthly GALA Global newsletter
  • Approximate value: up to USD $850

One (1) winner that is not a GALA member:

  • One (1) free professional membership
  • Approximate value: USD $450

Winners from each member or nonmember category will be selected at random from all eligible entrants. The prizes are non-transferable. You must be 18 years of age or older to win.

Limitation of Liability

GALA assumes no responsibility or liability for:

  1. incorrect or inaccurate entry information
  2. faulty or failed electronic transmissions
  3. unauthorized access to or alteration of entries
  4. technical malfunctions or communication failures of any kind
  5. inaccessibility of networks, the internet, or websites
  6. discontinued or suspended internet/phone service
  7. injury or damage to a participant’s device related to contest participation

If for any reason the contest cannot run as planned, such as a technical failure, GALA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest. In such cases, GALA has no further obligation to participants.

Eligibility Restrictions

GALA employees, officers, directors, and their household or immediate family members are not eligible to participate or win.

GALA administers the contest and is responsible for collection and processing of entries. Entrants should contact GALA with questions at: membership@gala-global.org.

This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. GALA reserves the right to prohibit participation by any individual at its sole discretion and may update these rules at any time as permitted by law.

Prize Conditions

The approximate prize values represent GALA’s good-faith estimate and are final. If actual value is less than stated, the difference will not be awarded in cash.

Prizes:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • May be substituted by GALA with a prize of equal or greater value if necessary

Failure to comply with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
