Membership Plans

Select this option if you are a company wanting to provide professional development for the entire staff. This membership includes an unlimited number of users.

Annual membership dues are based on annual revenue for language services companies and on department budget for global enterprises. Member benefits are the same across the tiers. 

Open House Membership (Free 30-day Trial). Select this option if you are a company wishing to provide temporary member benefits for all staff members. Company membership includes an unlimited number of users. Open House runs 01-30 September. After that, the trial membership will lapse (and we hope you'll choose one of our annual membership plans)!

Select this option if you are an individual with a professional interest in globalization, localization, language operations, language technologies, or any other facet of global business and multilingual/multicultural communication. 

Annual membership dues: US $450

Select this option if you are a Nonprofit organization: a legal entity created to operate for a purpose other than generating profit. Any income generated must be reinvested into the organization's mission instead of being distributed to members, directors, or officers. Nonprofit members must be legally formed in and regulated by a recognized country or jurisdiction. This membership includes an unlimited number of users. 

Annual membership dues: US $450

When you select the "Join as Nonprofit Member" option, you will be asked to complete an application form for GALA to review. You will receive a notification when your application has been approved.

Select this option if you are an accredited university granting degrees in subjects related to globalization, international business, localization, translation, interpretation, language technologies, or any other facet of global business. This membership includes an unlimited number of users to share with your faculty, staff, and students.

Annual membership dues: US $450

When you select the "Join as University Member" button, you will be asked to complete an application form for GALA to review. You will receive a notification when your application has been approved.

Select this option if you are individual currently enrolled in a degree program in subjects related to globalization, international business, localization, translation, interpreting, language technologies, or any other facet of global business.

Annual membership dues: US $75

When you select the "Join as Student Member" option, you will be asked to complete an application form, including proof of enrollment, for GALA to review. You will receive a notification when your application has been approved.
