This achievement underscores memoQ’s commitment to protecting customer data and meeting the most rigorous enterprise security expectations in industries where trust is non-negotiable.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 is the benchmark framework for evaluating controls around security, availability, and confidentiality. Passing the independent audit affirms that memoQ’s security practices meet the same standards demanded by Fortune 500 companies in finance, life sciences, banking, and technology.

The company is also advancing toward SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, which involves a months-long audit of security practices in operation. Completion is expected in the coming months.
