Professional Bio

I am a professional translator and postgraduate student specializing in multilingual translation, localization, and translation technologies. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation from Ionian University and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Translation at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germersheim.
I work professionally across Greek, English, and German, providing translation, proofreading, and localization services in a range of fields, including marketing, financial, technical, digital, and automotive content. My professional experience includes working with international clients and organizations such as Argos, RWS, Binance, and a major German automotive brand. I also have experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA), terminology management and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, including Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase and Smartling.
My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of translation, language, and technology, particularly how AI and emerging technologies are transforming professional translation workflows. I am also interested in translation theory, localization, intercultural communication, and developing effective multilingual strategies.
Alongside my professional and academic work, I contribute to the international translation and localization community through my involvement with Women in Localization, where I currently serve as Membership Lead and Sponsorship and Fundraising Associate. These roles allow me to combine my interest in the language industry with community building, collaboration, and professional development.
I am particularly motivated by opportunities that bring together linguistic expertise, technology, intercultural communication, and continuous learning.
