For 20+ years, I've sat at the intersection of linguistics, project management, language technology, and cultural strategy. I lead end-to-end localization projects for Australian government and corporate clients, managing 500+ language contractors and delivering 1,000+ projects a year. Right now, I'm driving my team's shift to a hybrid AI-translation model across 15 top-tier languages - building the workflows and helping sales translate the "why" for clients. As the language technology specialist, I am a key advisor and lead producer for all CAT tool compatible projects. This includes software assessment and management, maintaining current personal skillset, managing team and translator training, advising Management on best practise and assisting with client quotations and delivery, related to CAT tool projects.
