Marina Pantcheva is a linguist and polyglot. She brings extensive experience across academia, leadership, and innovation. She holds a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics, with research focused on the foundational elements of language through the lens of Nanosyntax. In 2014, she transitioned into the localization industry, where she led the development of crowd-based localization processes—spanning technology, business intelligence, linguistic quality, and community management. Currently, she heads the Linguistic AI Services Center of Excellence at RWS, where she drives the development and implementation of linguistic AI solutions.
A strong advocate for clear language, she is also committed to knowledge sharing and regularly contributes to outreach through public talks, blogs, podcasts, and other educational initiatives.
