More than an event, this will be a space to connect with decision-makers, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the language services industry in Brazil.

Fabiano Cid, Powerling

Fabiano Cid is a global content strategist and, since 2024, has served as Chief Solutions Officer at Powerling, connecting strategy and execution to expand his clients' reach on a global scale. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, he has led high-performance teams in Latin America, North America, and Europe. In 1999, he founded Ccaps Translation and Localization, a Brazilian language services provider that became one of the most respected in Latin America before merging with OXO Innovation in 2018. An active member of GALA (Globalization and Localization Association), he has held various leadership positions, including Board Member, Chairperson of the Board, and GALA Ambassador. Throughout his career, he has contributed to defining the association's strategic direction, supported key leadership transitions, and served as an advocate for inclusion and community development in the industry.
Fabiano also serves on the Advisory Board of Women in Localization, where he promotes gender equity, mentorship, and representation in the industry. Recognized as an influential voice in the field of globalization, Fabiano was recently appointed Global Content Wrangler and is the creator and host of the SOFA series, which promotes candid conversations with leaders in the localization industry.
Ligia Fragano, Little Brown Mouse
Founding partner of Little Brown Mouse, Ligia is the driving force behind the transformation of her father's freelance business into a leading audiovisual translation company in Brazil. With a degree in Languages from FFLCH/USP and an MBA in Strategic Business Management from FIAP, Ligia has been running LBM with affection and excellence for over a decade, always focused on technology and innovation. In her latest venture, she launched Avellan, an automatic subtitling platform with a proprietary AI model, bringing cutting-edge subtitling technology to the professional audiovisual community.
Lisandro Caterina, RTS TRADUÇÕES LTDA.

Lisandro Caterina holds the position of Director of Finance and Operations at RoundTable Studio. He began his career in the localization industry as a translator in the 1990s, later becoming project manager at Language Management International in Rosario, Argentina. In 2003, he joined Idea Factory Languages as Operations Manager and helped establish the company's operations in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Porto Alegre (Brazil), where he lives and works to this day. In 2011, Idea Factory Languages became RoundTable Studio, and Lisandro led the restructuring of the company as a minority shareholder and assuming the role of Director. Since then, he has participated in several marketing initiatives representing the company, including trade fairs, conferences, and forums. He holds a degree in Political Science from Chiba University in Japan, he completed his MBA in Services Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Brazil.
Lisandro specializes in offering services and finding tailor-made solutions for customer needs, an activity he enjoys very much. In addition to his native Spanish, Lisandro is fluent in English and Portuguese, and fortunately remembers most of the Japanese he learned during the years he lived in Japan.
Luana Lowndes, Avantpage Life Sciences

Luana Lowndes is an advertising professional and marketing and sales specialist with over 15 years of experience, the last 10 of which have been dedicated to the translation and localization industry. She is currently Business Development Manager at Avantpage Life Sciences, the European division of the American company Avantpage, where she leads business development initiatives focused on the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked in Brazil, Argentina, and Europe, leading marketing, sales, and expansion projects in different cultures and regulatory contexts. In her education, she has always sought to connect theory and practice: she studied Digital Transformation at FGV, Digital Marketing at Infinet, and delved into international sales and marketing, consolidating a global and applied view of the market.
Passionate about combining strategic communication, commercial growth, and integrated and automated processes, Luana believes that marketing and sales are complementary drivers for boosting business, especially in highly regulated and competitive industries. Her approach applies and adapts frameworks such as Growth Hacking and Go-To-Market to the reality of translation and localization, transforming theory into practical results. For her, the translation industry is an invisible thread that connects lives, cultures, and people; it creates access, builds trust, and enables relationships that transform the world.
Patrick Nunes, Rotary International

Patrick is Director of Global Communications & Design at Rotary International, leading teams in localization, content creation and editing, design, social media, and interpretation. His work combines strategy, storytelling, and cultural intelligence to ensure that messages have impact across languages and cultures.
Recognized as a strategic leader, Patrick is often called upon to lead corporate initiatives that require a global vision — from digital strategies to brand governance. He excels at combining operational insight and creative leadership, helping organizations communicate with clarity, relevance, and impact.
Patrick regularly shares his experiences with international audiences, offering practical insights for organizations that want to strengthen their voice and operations, optimize resources, and prepare for the future.
Paula Rodrigues, Copastur Viagens e Turismo

Paula Rodrigues is Legal and Compliance Manager at Copastur Viagens e Turismo. She is a lawyer specializing in Information Technology Rights from POLI/USP (Universidade de São Paulo) and Civil Law and Civil Procedure from EPD (Escola Paulista de Direito). Paula is Lead Auditor in ISO/IEC 42001:2023 (for AI Management Systems). She is a professor, researcher, lecturer, and author of articles on Artificial Intelligence, legal impacts, and governance.
Rodrigo Melati, XP Investimentos

Rodrigo Melati works in the investment strategy area at XP, aiming to align investors' portfolios with their investment policies. He is an economist by training, with extensive experience in the financial market, having been an equity investment fund manager and director of management and portfolio manager at a multi-family office.
