GALA has given me invaluable insight into how our industry operates, what drives business success, and the global impact of localization worldwide.

In your view, what is the primary function and purpose of GALA? How can the association have a positive impact on its members?

GALA is a hub where we grow, learn, and succeed together. It anticipates change, sets industry trends, and equips its members with the insights needed to navigate an evolving business landscape. By fostering a strong sense of community, GALA brings forward the latest innovations, technologies, and market developments to prepare members for the realities of tomorrow, helping them remain competitive today. In addition, GALA serves as a powerful advocate for the localization industry, amplifying its voice across sectors and highlighting the vital role of language in driving business success.

You get a warm welcome into the world of language, technology and outstanding professionals from all over the world, which only makes you stay longer.

How have you engaged with GALA as a member?

We contribute with articles Asian Languages for GALA content calendar regularly, I've held 2 webinars myself, helped a colleague of mine do one, lead GALA Sales Academy '25 and now help on the GALA Barometer, I've been speaker at two conferences, one on Marketing and one of Vendor Management.

Why would you make a good GALA board member? What will you bring to the table?

I’ve been a member of the Board of the Bulgarian National Aeroclub for several years. During my student years, I served as president of an organization (now inactive). Before joining 1-StopAsia, I gained 12 years of experience in sales. At 1-StopAsia, I’ve curated our internal Sales Training programs and worked extensively on Growth Strategies, M&A, and identifying new business opportunities. I have a deep understanding of creating value through marketing and content curation, as well as building teams and processes from the ground up.

Which segment(s) of GALA's membership do you represent? What perspective will you bring?

Language Service Provider with LSP to LSP scope, deep understanding of how the bottleneck of the industry works and what the dynamics are in the supply chain. Being mid-size gives us an insight into all levels and good feeling of what the pulse is among small and big.

What is one thing that every language industry professional needs to hear right now?

We have a future, it is now and we need to grab the opportunity bravely not to be afraid of it.
