GALA 2024 Networking & Social Events
Depending on whom you ask, you may hear that the social events are the highlight of GALA's signature translation and localization conference. We create a welcoming environment for newcomers and veterans alike. Meeting old friends and making new ones is one of the best parts of a GALA conference!
Admission to most social events is included with full GALA conference registration. Guest tickets for the Welcome Reception and GALA Dinner may be purchased for those not in the industry (family, spouse, etc.). Industry professionals who would like to attend social activities must register for the conference. Tours and the TWB fundraiser have a fee for participation.

Experience the modern masterpiece at the heart of Valencia’s cultural scene with a guided tour of the spectacular City of Arts and Sciences complex. Walk along the length of this futuristic complex designed by celebrated Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, while learning about its construction and the many events and attractions contained within its eye-popping structures. Then, step inside the Reina Sofía Palace of the Arts, one of the finest international venues for theatre, dance, opera and music concerts and the Fallero Museum, dedicated to the experience and history of the super popular Fallas Festival.
Tour will be followed by a 3-course lunch at a nearby local restaurant serving local favorites.
You may purchase a ticket for yourself and up to two (2) guests during registration. Tickets are US$ 95 each and include transportation, admission, and lunch.

memoQ’s mini-conference will not be a typical learning event. Those who attended memoQfests surely remember that networking is an integral part of memoQ events.
