XTRF scores a European Union grant
XTRF Management Systems Ltd. has won European Union grant worth over $1 million. The project titled "Continuity of the processes and data security in a translation management system" is financed from the EU Innovative Economy Operational Programme.
The project known as xContinuo is funded from the Innovative Economy program priority: Research and Development of Modern Technology and is expected to end in September 2015. The purpose of the project is to develop technologies that will ensure operation continuity, extreme data security and seamless experience for TMS class systems. XTRF - a multi-layered, enterprise-class system - will be adapted to operate in a highly distributed architecture model for cloud computing and collaboration with the so-called Intercloud. The goal of the project is to improve the level of experience for the end-users of the TM system.
The project is a part of a 4-year development plan aiming at a real technology breakthrough in the translation market. The previously received capital from the investment fund will be used toward adjusting the system to modern UX trends and the development of integration between diverse translation technologies.
