Tokyo, Japan -- The TOIN Corporation is pleased to announce that Aki Ito has joined the company as Vice President. In his position at TOIN, Ito will be responsible for the re-engineering of the organization towards its global expansion.

Active in the technical communication and localization industry, Ito has been featured as a speaker at several international conferences, most recently Localization World in Seattle. He has been in the localization industry for 10 years, and he is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA). Prior to the localization industry, Ito was an Account Executive at Dell Computer Corporation (now Dell, Inc.) liaising between the U.S. headquarters and its Japanese subsidiary. He holds a Masters in International Marketing & Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tokyo International University in Tokyo, Japan.
