SDL Maidenhead, U.K. - 18 January 2010 - SDL plc, the leading provider of Global Information Management solutions, today announced that revenues and profits for the year ended 31 December 2009 are expected to be ahead of analyst expectations.

 

Revenue is expected to be in the range of £171m to £172m (2008: £158.8m) compared with analyst consensus expectations of £167.1m.  Profits before taxation and amortisation of intangible assets ("PBTA") for the period are expected to be in the range of £29m to £30m (2008: £25.6m), compared with analyst consensus expectations of £28m. Net cash in the business at the end of the period was in excess of £45m (2008: £31.2m) after acquisitions.

SDL expects to announce preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2009 on 1 March 2010 when further details will be given.
