Palex cooperates with Tomsk State University
Tomsk, Russia -- Palex Languages & Software and Tomsk State University have signed an agreement on non-commercial cooperation in the sphere of specialist training.
In the course of this cooperation, the University's center for marketing research and communication will pick student CVs that meet Palex requirements to be reviewed by Palex. Selected students will be eligible for special training, including practical training.
Palex experts have already developed a plan of free lectures and workshops to get students acquainted with the concept of localization, technical translation principles, automation tools, translation agency work methods and other aspects of real-world translation work. Students showing the best results will be able to continue training and perhaps to get a job at Palex.
Such cooperation should result in both adapting students to the real localization and translation business needs and providing Palex with qualified personnel.
Further, Palex plans on developing more detailed courses, such as "Translator work automation" and "Localization" with possible international level certificates. Negotiations with American and European localization certification bodies are projected for 2007.
Palex Langauges and Software was founded in 2002 and provides a complete range of localization and globalization services to companies worldwide. For more information about Palex, visit www.palex.ru or e-mail at [email protected] .
