Omniscien Technologies Releases Next-Generation REST API and Language Scripting Toolkit for Language Studio™ Cloud
SINGAPORE – Omniscien Technologies (formerly Asia Online) today announces the release of its next-generation REST Application Programming Interface (API) and Language Scripting Toolkit for Language Studio™ Cloud. The new toolkit provides easy to use access to integrated complex language processing and machine translation with capabilities that significantly extend the utility of the platform and make complex language processing accessible to a wide range of customers.
Omniscien Technologies recently launched the latest version of Language Studio™ that combines both Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) and hybrid Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology based on machine learning in a single platform for all 550 Language Pairs currently supported. Today, Language Studio™ is further enhanced by the addition of a new REST API and the release of a Language Studio™ Scripting Toolkit that significantly extends the range of applications supported. The REST API and the Scripting Toolkit enable distributed processing and provide language processing capabilities such as language ID, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, tokenization and a range of other capabilities via an API. In addition, the toolkit allows access to machine translation functions including engine trainings through the API, enabling customers to build complex data manipulation and processing workflows easily by calling key functions from the platform.
“Many of our customers process increasing volumes of data for a wide range of applications, including e-commerce, big data analytics and machine learning. To date many of these applications have demanded complex data manipulation at significant volumes. This required users to possess significant Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills. Now, by offering a single Scripting Toolkit with distributed processing and a set of easy-to-use modules, Omniscien Technologies has enabled complex allocated language processing applications for a much broader range of customers and this really helps to level the playing field”, says Andrew Rufener, CEO of Omniscien Technologies.
Dion Wiggins, CTO of Omniscien Technologies adds: “Our Language Studio™ Scripting Toolkit makes the full power of our years-long experience in data manipulation easily accessible to our customers. By providing a simple Scripting Toolkit, we make complex processing very easy and the distributed nature of the toolkit enables customers to run simple functions locally while deploying Language Studio™ for complex manipulation.”
The REST API and the toolkit are available today in Language Studio™ Cloud and will be available as an update to customers running Language Studio™ Enterprise.
