Moravia Worldwide Becomes Microsoft Gold Certified Partner

RWS Moravia

Tuesday, 12 September, 2006

Moravia Worldwide, a leading globalization solution provider, announced today that as Moravia IT (a company trading name) it has become Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) technologies, and Moravia has attained this status on the strength of its competencies with Microsoft technologies, with experience dating back to 1991. This upgrade from Microsoft Certified Partner to Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status is based on Moravia's competences in the ISV/Software Solutions and Networking Infrastructure Solutions categories.

The Microsoft Partner Program is designed for all who develop and market solutions based on Microsoft platforms or provide consulting or technical services on Microsoft systems. While supporting a broad range of platforms as part of their service offerings, Moravia Worldwide uses Microsoft technologies extensively in their infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies are also at the base of a large part of Moravia's internal software development. This development is primarily focused on enhancing the services Moravia Worldwide provides, and includes advanced tools such as IssueTracker, Moravia's web-based, highly configurable issue and business process management system, and Tracy Moravia's online test tracking system.

Moravia Worldwide is not only highly proficient in using Microsoft technologies, but as a long-standing Microsoft partner also helps Microsoft to release their products and content in local-language versions globally. This is achieved by providing a wide range of software localization, testing, engineering, translation and development services in over 90 languages and language variants, while working with Microsoft development centers in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Since 2002, Moravia has also maintained the status of Microsoft Premier Vendor for localization services under the Microsoft Vendor Program (MSVP). This program aims to identify those vendors who are qualified, and have the scalable capacity, to undertake a significant proportion of Microsoft's outsourced localization work globally. Microsoft utilizes a rigorous selection process for elevation of a partner to Premier Vendor status.

"Since the start, we have always developed Moravia Worldwide to be a leader in using a wide array of technologies, and we are very pleased with the experience we have built over time deploying and supporting Microsoft products," commented Katerina Forstingerova, CEO of Moravia Worldwide. "The large number of Microsoft-qualified and Microsoft-certified engineers we have under roof ensures Moravia can provide quality and reliable services not only to Microsoft, but also to all companies using Microsoft technologies or developing products for Microsoft platforms."
