Brno, Czech Republic (October 6, 2008) – Moravia Worldwide, a leading globalization solution provider, announced today that Ms. Diane McAveeney joined the company’s operations as Director of Sales for North America. Ms. McAveeney will be based in Moravia’s East Coast office in Princeton, New Jersey.

“We are delighted to have Diane as a member of our Senior Management Team. She has exceptional abilities to serve clients, grow practice areas, and foster teamwork with colleagues. Diane understands the current business issues, and has the ability to help executives at all levels and in many industries, including high-tech, banking, finance, and media, to address the challenges they face today when launching their products and content globally,” commented Ms. Véronique Ozkaya, Moravia’s Chief Sales Officer.

In this new position, Diane McAveeney will lead Moravia’s new sales and account management strategies in North America and will manage the Global Business Services Team across the region.

Diane joins Moravia as a global business executive with over 15 years of experience in software, multimedia, web, and localization. She served as the International Director of Sales and Marketing at Bowne Translation Services (BTS), a division of Bowne & Co., where she built a global sales force. Previously, she served as Manager of Global Client Practice for Bowne Global Solutions (BGS). In addition, Diane made a significant contribution to the growth of INTL (later acquired by Lionbridge), as founding member of their successful Webstream and Interactive division.

“Since establishing Moravia’s US operations in 2001, we have seen remarkable growth of our customer base in the region, which has been a significant and increasing contribution to global revenues. Moravia has been historically strong in the West Coast, and I now look forward to strengthening the company’s presence and customers across North America”, said Ms. McAveeney. “This is a crucial moment for many North American corporations, as they increasingly rely on international markets for their continued growth. Thanks to our global infrastructure, which includes a large production hub in Brno, Czech Republic, and Rosario, Argentina – built to serve primarily North American clients – Moravia is uniquely positioned to help companies to realize the international opportunities of the day.”

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
