Wednesday, 4 December, 2013

KantanMT is pleased to announce the launch of its new rule based post-editor, PEX. The online PEX editor helps members of KantanMT.com to automate their Machine Translation post-editing processes through the use of 'find and replace' technology. Members using the PEX Rule Editor have experienced significant reductions in human post-editing requirements, and have also reported considerable reductions in overall translation costs.

The new PEX editor enables KantanMT members to:

  • Create up to three PEX post-editing rules at one time
  • Test these rules against sample content
  • Apply these rules to client translation files

“The PEX Rule Editor makes it easy for our members to apply automated post-editing rules to their client files,” said Tony O’Dowd, Founder and Chief Architect of KantanMT.com, “this time saving tool is easy to use and extremely efficient. It will add great value to those using the KantanMT.com platform.”

According to the research firm, Markets and Markets, the natural language processing sector will grow from €2.8 billion in 2013 to €7.4 billion in 2018, representing a compound annual growth rate of 21.1 percent.
