GALA Announces Resignation of Board Member T. Bell

Seattle, WA (USA) — The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) today announced the resignation of Board of Directors member Terena Bell (In Every Language, USA). “We want to thank Terena for her service to the organization, and we hope we can count on her continued support in building this industry of professionals,” said Robert E. Etches, Chairman of the Board of GALA.

Ms. Bell’s term on the GALA Board began on 1 January 2013 and was slated to end on 31 December 2014. According to the Bylaws, Ms. Bell’s seat will remain vacant until the end of her term. It will be filled during the regularly scheduled elections in the Fall of this year.

 “It is with deep regret that I must resign,” wrote Ms. Bell, addressing the GALA membership in her resignation letter. “I cannot thank you enough for electing me. I consider one of the highest points of my career to be the moment you placed your trust in me and bestowed me with the honor of representing you.”
