GALA Adopts the Inttranews Networking Solution to Enhance Member Services
Seattle, Washington, USA (2 September 2009): The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) has adopted the Inttranews networking system, which offers leading daily news bulletins for the language industry. As an Inttranews partner, GALA will co-brand the bulletin and have the right to distribute it to GALA members and an unlimited number of guests.
"As an industry association, it is our job to provide as many resources and educational opportunities for our members as possible," said Laura Brandon, association manager of GALA. "The daily news brief from Inttranews is a very valuable tool for language and localization practitioners, and we are pleased to be able to offer it to our membership."
Inttranews allows network members to parameter their individual profiles to receive a daily news bulletin corresponding to their own fields of interest, suggest further content in order to customize the scope of the bulletin, and discuss on-line the reports published each day.
With the Inttranews networking solution, organisations of any scope or scale can create or extend a network of like-minded linguists, based on content of genuine interest and value, such as calls for tender announced via the news service (worth more than EUR 370 million in 2008 alone). Inttranews archives comprise more than 44,000 searchable reports, classified by subject category, of unique value for market research.
Network managers have access to a specific back office, enabling them to manage the membership of their network - all for a single annual fee of only EUR 100.
