GALA 2010 Draws International and Local Support: Moravia Worldwide is Platinum Sponsor for 10-12 May conference in Prague

Thursday, 4 March, 2010

Seattle, Washington, USA (04 March 2010) – GALA 2010, the Globalization and Localization Association’s second Language of Business conference, has filled all of its major sponsorship positions two months before the conference and has only a few select opportunities remaining. The conference, 10-12 May in Prague, will bring developers of content together with translation and localization sellers to discuss and debate the future of global content delivery.

Moravia Worldwide, based in Brno, Czech Republic and a leading provider of translation, localization and testing services, is this year’s Platinum Sponsor. CEET Ltd. (Czech Republic) is the Gold Sponsor and Alchemy Software Development (Ireland) is the Silver Sponsor. Additional sponsors include text & form GmbH (Germany), Skrivanek (Czech Republic), Interpro Translation Solutions (USA), iDisc Information Technologies (Spain), Translated in Argentina (Argentina), Aspena (Czech Republic), Zelenka (Czech Republic) and Kilgray Translation Technologies (Hungary). A number of international partner sponsors are also supporting the conference. All sponsors can be viewed at the GALA 2010 website sponsorship page.

“Our GALA 2010 sponsors mirror our membership, coming from around the world as well as from the local Central European region,” said Hans Fenstermacher, GALA board chairperson. “As we did with our first conference in Mexico, we are able to give added visibility to our members in the region of the conference—in this case we have a number of partners from the Czech Republic. We also are drawing larger, international companies as sponsors, which speaks to the breadth of the GALA Language of Business conferences.”

In addition to sponsorships, GALA 2010 has filled most of its exhibit space and will be closing exhibitor registration on 31 March.

The GALA 2010 theme, The Global Community: Capturing Customers Worldwide, reflects the work shared by GALA members and their customers in communicating global content locally. In addition to the program of speakers, the conference will include ever-popular speed networking with translation buyers and sellers.

Early registration discounts for GALA 2010 are available through 12 March.
