BOULDER, CO (JULY 18, 2008) - ENLASO Corporation, a provider of translation and localization solutions, today announced that it will present a live encore Webinar July 31st, 2008, titled "Overview of the Localization Process, Technical Writing and Translation."

The Webinar features once again ENLASO Localization Engineer and industry expert Doug Pearson. Pearson initially hosted this complimentary Webinar in July of 2007 and nearly 200 attendees participated in this educational Web presentation. Pearson notes, “The information presented in this Webinar has since been updated and is of particular interest to technical writers, publications managers, documentation specialists and anyone involved in the documentation localization and translation process.”

The presentation includes an overview of the localization process and other job functions in the process, best practices for authoring multilingual documents, the use of Controlled English in authoring documents for localization and translation, as well as an overview and examples of Translation Memory (TM) usage.

Pearson further adds, “A primary focus of this presentation is to guide technical writers to understand the tasks of the other people who work on the localization process in order to make their own work more effective, thus saving both time and money in the localization and translation process.”
