ENLASO to Host Live Webinar Presentation about the Use of Structure and Metadata in Localization

Friday, 3 April, 2009

BOULDER, CO (APRIL 3, 2009) - ENLASO Corporation, a provider of translation and localization solutions, today announced that it will present a live Webinar April 30th, 2009, titled "Use of Structure and Metadata in Localization."

The Webinar features Doug Pearson, an ENLASO Localization Engineer and FrameMaker authority.

While structured content offers superior organization of data when compared to unstructured content, there is an equally-important advantage in providing the ability to codify information about the content in structured documents with metadata.

Pearson notes, “The localization process is one area that can be greatly improved and streamlined by including such metadata.” He continues, “These improvements can be seen in every stage of the localization process: authoring/publishing, file processing, and translation memory usage, both for actual translation work and translation memory management.”

In this session, Pearson presents a thorough overview of how these improvements can be implemented. He also provides numerous specific examples for each of these areas of the localization process.

This presentation is of particular interest to technical writers, publications managers, documentation specialists, and anyone involved in the documentation localization and translation process.
