Barcelona - Headquarters 01 October 2017. – CPSL Language Services, a global leader of the LSP market (LSP: Language Service Provider) in localization, translation, interpreting, and other language-related multimedia services, is pleased to announce that it has pledged its support to helping two different non-profit organizations. On the one hand, CPSL has renewed its bronze sponsorship of Translators without Borders (TWB) to support this organization’s work in offering translations and interpreting for the most vulnerable people around the world. On the other hand, and honoring its commitment to the First Hand Foundation, CPSL is proud to participate as a sponsor of the Masquerade Ball in order to support this fundraising event.

CPSL CEO, Tenesoya Pawlowsky: “In both cases, we admire their work and programs. Regarding the First Hand Foundation, we happen to know the team behind the organization. We therefore trust them completely and can relate to what they’ve been doing all these years in their dedication to having an impact on children’s health.  We also decided to support the work of TWB, because we appreciate the fact that they’ve become the “voice” of those who are most vulnerable in our society. Helping people to understand each other and communicate is part of CPSL's mission. In this regard, TWB has given us the opportunity to transfer this mission and implement it at a non-profit and completely altruistic level, something we are very proud of. We hope that we can continue to support this significant humanitarian work and also support all the translators and interpreters who help to alleviate really extreme situations through their dedication, while expecting nothing in return”.

Aimee Ansari, Executive Director of Translators without Borders, adds: “We are incredibly grateful to CPSL for this assistance, which is critical to enable us, in turn, to support more humanitarian work around the globe. The financial support provided by sponsors is critical to sustaining the organization and helping it grow. In the course of our work, we've become aware of a huge need, which is for people in poor countries to have access to global knowledge in their own language." Aimee Ansari goes on to explain that “The contributions made by corporate sponsors ensure that we can support our core team, which plans and executes the programs we run at TWB. This includes our ongoing development work to provide language services to hundreds of other non-profit organizations in almost 200 languages and our crisis response work, which can range from responding to the Storm Harvey emergency through multilingual social media monitoring for distress calls to providing rapid translations of cholera prevention messages for people affected by the hurricane in Haiti last year. This income is of vital importance to the organization’s sustainability”, Ansari concludes.
