CPSL becomes a member of STC (Society of Technical Communication) and ACOMTEC (Tekom Office in Spain)

Friday, 5 August, 2005

CPSL has recently joined the two major organizations engaged exclusively in advancing the discipline of technical communication: STC (USA) and ACOMTEC (Tekom Spain). The two associations bring together technical writers, translators, editors, content developers, documentation specialists and web page developers.

CPSL with its office in Boston, will participate in STC's conferences, publications, and reports. CPSL plans to contribute its support and the know-how on various aspects of the translation and documentation industries, and at the same time, to learn from STC's members. This will allow CPSL to provide better and more rounded translation and documentation services to its US clients.

CPSL's staff positioned throughout Europe will collaborate with ACOMTEC to achieve a similar purpose. Tekom being recognized as the most important association for the development of technical communication in Europe, will allow through its various activities CPSL to stay up-to-date in all areas of this sector in order to be able to apply the techniques and latest technologies to all its projects.

This step being taken by CPSL is part of an important campaign to emphasize one of its services: technical writing. CPSL is therefore confident of being able to offer a more complete service based on the information learned through the associations on latest technologies and other aspects related to technical documentation.
