Conversis named among the elite of Britains startups in Real Business 50 to Watch 2006
OXFORD, England Conversis, a translation and localization company based in the UK and US has been recognized by Real Business magazine as one of the UK's "50 to watch" startup companies.
The leading British business publication sought to find the most exciting, innovative and promising new firms in the UK and selected Conversis from more than 300 nominations. The magazine was specifically looking for "interesting people with bold ambitions, tackling established markets or creating entirely new ones." By being included within the top 50, the designation supports Conversis' innovative and highly original approach to the GILT services it provides for multi-national companies worldwide.
"We are delighted to be recognized as 'one to watch' by Real Business," said Gary Muddyman, CEO and Managing Director of Conversis. "We have always had a commitment to originality and innovation, and through our vision we have been able to reap significant success since our inception. However, we are well aware that 80 percent of new firms don't live to see their 5th birthday, and so we plan to remain aggressive as we expand our business offerings into new markets."
As part of the company's success, Conversis continues to invest in the research and development of its service proposition to customers. The company's inclusion in Real Business "50 to Watch" has followed from the company's announcement that a 2005 tally of project performance and customer service ratings by its clients provided Conversis with an "excellent" rating overall. The findings were based on satisfaction surveys distributed each month in 2005.
Conversis now has clients that represent more than a dozen industries in more than 30 markets globally, delivering translation and localization projects across a wide range of market interests, including financial services, medical and pharmaceutical companies and telecoms providers.
The company has built its expertise on delivering quality, time-sensitive translation, localization and internationalization services, while providing customers with access to industry experts. In addition, the company uniquely offers a business consulting service, which helps companies to deliver global projects on time and in budget, while realizing improved return on investment.
