Partnership expands the company’s commitment to deliver compelling solutions for government customers


LOS ANGELES  – Feb. 15, 2011 – SDL (LSE:SDL),  the leading provider of Global Information Management solutions, is pleased to announce its partnership with Clark Kent Ervin, former inspector general of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) , to help guide new US government initiatives and expand the reach of trusted translation solutions for government organizations.


Ervin served as the first Inspector General of the US DHS, and the Inspector General for the US Department of State.  As a partner and advisor to SDL, he will work closely with the SDL Language Technologies division and government entities to initiate new areas of expansion, particularly for automated translation. Erwin will help ensure that new products support the requirements for intelligence and security organizations.
