Vendors talk about their quality, service, price, on-time delivery and how they can deliver any localization project in any of forty languages. But after listening to sales pitches, reading emails, reviewing websites, and looking through brochures, all vendors begin to sound the same. In this candid presentation and discussion, Jean-Luc Mazet will share his perspective on the challenges of evaluating Localization Service Providers, and what differentiates the best LSPs from the rest.
After completing his Masters in linguistics, civilization, and technical interpreting and translating in France, Jean-Luc taught at the University of Texas at Austin. He later took a position as an IEEE conference manager. In the past two decades he has contributed to and managed several hardware and software documentation and localization projects for several international companies of all sizes and in all industry sectors.
