Inbound marketing is all the rage, from social media to marketing through devices. While new generation tools offer inexpensive access to targeted markets, should they replace more traditional marketing tools such as advertising? GALA's PR guru Rebecca Petras will lead this discussion of the newest marketing tools compared to the most established ones, what is working today, what is not, and how the latest strategies can be applied to even the smallest of LSPs. The second half will be a hands-on discussion of participants' challenges. Come to the session with one specific marketing challenge to discuss as a group.

Rebecca manages and oversees all aspects of Translators without Borders’ work as its first program director. Previously she was a board member for Translators without Borders and served on the executive committee as the head of the marketing committee. Rebecca has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience including handling public relations and marketing for the Globalization and Localization Association for five years.
