The explosive growth of multilingual digital content necessitates new strategies for content management. Terminology is at the very heart of the solution. It is a powerful means that can help us deal with content in the digital age, but it is more complex than ever. We need innovative approaches to managing terminology that are collaborative, user-friendly, multilingual, and interoperable. This session presents case studies demonstrating innovative approaches to terminology management within the digital content management scenario.
Tatjana Gornostaja is an experienced manager, trainer and researcher in multilingual technologies. Her academic background is in terminology management (Bachelor and Master) and machine translation (Doctor), accompanying with more than 15 years in the field. Her activities included project, service and group management and recently business development. Since 2005, Tatjana has been working for Tilde, a leading European company, specialising in multilingual technologies (machine translation, terminology services, speech processing and others). She participated in several large-scale international projects. At Tilde, Tatjana manages Tilde Terminology services. She is a frequent presenter at international events and participates in several professional organizations.
