In this session devoted to technology, we will examine the role of CAT tools in the translation workflow and learn how they help improve both processes and outcomes. We will discuss what to expect when getting started with these tools, whether as independent translators or as translation companies. What are the costs? What kind of infrastructure is required? How soon will the investment pay off? Will it really make work easier? How? Experts in several different tools including Trados, Wordfast, and memoQ will share their experiences and wisdom."
