The error review functionality in the open TAUS DQF API allows providers of language services to integrate quality review in their day-to-day tool environment and to track and benchmark their translation performance on the TAUS Quality Dashboard. The error review API is based on a harmonization of the DQF (Dynamic Quality Framework) and MQM (Multidimensional Quality Metrics) error typologies that was funded by the European Commission as part of the QT21 project. It is now available to all stakeholders in the global translation industry looking for a standard way to categorize and measure translation quality. In this presentation, two LSPs that are now using the DQF-MQM Error Typology will share their experiences.
Dace Dzeguze is the language service provider (LSP) member services manager at TAUS, a resource center for global language and translation industries. She is responsible for LSP accounts and helps them with implementing the dynamic quality framework model in their workflows. Dace has eight years of experience in the industry, working as a project manager for LSPs in Riga and Amsterdam.
