Latin America is far beyond a mere production center for the localization industry these days. It's a new regional localization power. Pointing to attractive prices and talented human resources, Cid and Maldonado will provide persuasive arguments for why companies should recognize Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese as language groups in their own right, with resources that can be bought directly from the source.
Fabiano Cid is the Managing Director of Ccaps Translation and Localization, a company that supports the language needs of global brands in Latin America. With 20 years of localization experience and an active member of the language industry, Fabiano is a GALA Ambassador, co-creator of Think Latin America, and a member of the Advisory Board for the GALA Think! Series. He has also served as the chairman of the board of Milengo and of GALA.
