In the wake of negative media commentaries about the Spanish‐language website for the Affordable Care Act (www.CuidadoDeSalud.gov), GALA was asked to review the site and provide preliminary feedback on its linguistic quality. We created a Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) methodology to collect thoughtful comments and insights from our community of language professionals. The LQA was carried out as a crowdsourced initiative using a simplified survey methodology appropriate to this request. Despite this intentionally simplified approach, the major results are trustworthy and consistent, and they provide a reliable picture of the real translation quality. Please consult the report for its major conclusions.
