There are many different ways to lead, and everyone has their own style. But where does your model of leadership come from – why do you lead in the way that you do? We examine a variety of styles of leadership, considering their advantages and disadvantages in various contexts. We ask whether using other styles could make you a more effective leader, and especially what styles of leadership are needed from you to help your organization meet its current challenges.
Jonathan is a consultant, coach and facilitator in management development. He founded Riversight in 2016, providing services to the localisation industry and other sectors. Jonathan graduated with 1st class honours in Computer Science from Southampton University. He started his career as a software engineer with the UK MOD, followed by Hewlett-Packard, where his involvement with localisation began. At Canon, Jonathan became EMEA localisation director, building a localisation and web publishing function which operated as an independent division with its own P&L. He certified with distinction in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School.
