Group Business Analyst

We are looking for someone who would be passionate about being part of a group of two high-growing technology software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies – Memsource and Phrase (note: Phrase was acquired by Memsource in December 2020). Together the companies are on the mission to dominate the translation management software industry. The ideal candidate is someone who would be able to effectively support the company with their own critical thinking, strong quantitative / analytical / finance skills, ability to learn quickly, and natural desire to contribute to the success of the business through their (not only analytical) capabilities.

Your role and responsibilities

Identifying business opportunities (synergies, performance improvements, efficiency improvements)
Supporting group-level reporting, controlling, consolidation of results
Conducting business modeling and forecasting, putting together various business cases and ROI frameworks
Performing financial planning & (variance) analyses
Engaging in and coordinating financial, product, market, operational, and related market research to support strategic and business decision-making within the various departments
Analyzing problems/opportunities but also synthesizing the work to actionable and understandable outputs
Supporting revenue operations (incl. SaaS metrics, billing, payments, CRM, revenue recognition, dunning, cohort analyses, etc.)

You should have

Higher education in economics / math / finance
2+ years of experience in an analyst / controlling / data scientist position(s)
Solid understanding of SaaS metrics and FPA processes related to technology companies
Ability to conduct comprehensive market research and draw relevant conclusions
Solid knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
Advanced Excel skills
Fluent in business English
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Ability to interpret information / data in complex environments and draw conclusions / recommendations
Experience with PowerBI, Salesforce, and/or Hubspot is a plus
Experience with M&A is a plus
