Job Summary

The Business Development Assistant supports the Global Business Development Manager in generating and converting leads and prospects to new clients.

The Business Development Assistant is part-time position (20 hours/week) with potential to go full-time. This opportunity allows work-from-home.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Leads management
    1. Generate leads in accordance with CETRA’s ideal customer profile for each industry
    2. Update information (e.g., company, title, email, phone, etc.) of leads provided by marketing
    3. Answers leads’/prospects’ inquiries received via phone, email, and website
  2. Developing sales opportunities based on CRM data
    1. Identify prospective clients for GBDM
    2. Set up prospect calls for GBDM
    3. Research and prepare information for prospect calls
    4. Prepare quotes for prospects
  3. Managing sales cycle in CRM
    1. Enter contacts/leads into CRM
    2. Follow cadence to qualify leads
    3. Convert qualified leads into actual clients
  4. Provision of technical information
    1. Customize presentation templates for each lead/prospect who requires one
    2. Compile marketing material for leads/prospects
  5. Generate pipeline reports from BMSs and CRM
  6. Performs other duties as directed


Minimum Qualifications


This job requires an Associate degree (with a concentration in business administration, marketing, advertising/sales preferred); Bachelor would be advantageous. Familiarity with CRM use, especially Salesforce, is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions


Normal office environment (when in the office), frequent travel, evening events.
