Dipak Patel has been named GLOBO's new Chief Executive Officer
GLOBO has named Dipak Patel as the new Chief Executive Officer of the health equity-focused translation technology and solutions company. Patel succeeds Gene Schriver, who founded GLOBO in 2010. Schriver will remain a part of GLOBO by serving as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Patel joined GLOBO in 2021 as President and Chief Operating Officer, bringing 20+ years of experience in health tech, consulting, and private equity to the company’s executive team. During his time as President and COO, Patel has been influential in driving GLOBO’s growth and further expanding the company’s presence in the healthcare space.
“The past 18 months at GLOBO have been exciting, and I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to do great work with this team,” says Patel. “Gene has been an incredible leader, and I look forward to continuing GLOBO’s mission of creating a more empathic future for our customers, linguists, and limited-English speakers.”
Since Schriver founded the company in 2010, GLOBO has successfully disrupted the industry with a cloud platform, GLOBO HQ, that allows customers to access, manage and track multiple modalities of services, including telephone interpreting, video interpreting, on-site interpreters, text translation and fluency testing. GLOBO offers its customers actionable data insights, and a community of thousands of medically-qualified linguists.
“Dipak is passionate about our mission, which was very important to me, and I believe he exudes that passion every day,” says GLOBO founder Gene Schriver. “I believe in his ability to take GLOBO to new heights and become a dominant force in the market.”
