Governance risk and compliance (GRC) has increasingly become a critical operational component for language companies doing business today. Over the past several years, regulatory compliance trends have grown exponentially across regional and global markets. The data security and data privacy posture of the typical language service organization has become a mandatory assessment. It is no longer feasible for businesses to ignore or delay plans and programs for compliance remediation and certification – the risks and costs for non-compliance can be disastrous.

This informational session features a moderated panel of deeply experienced compliance industry experts. These compliance industry veterans weigh in on what every language industry organization must know today to ensure that their Cybersecurity posture is in check. Topics range from contrasting and comparing different global healthcare privacy and security trends, regulations and requirements to updates on specific security and privacy legislation like the GDPR, HIPAA, and others. The panel also discusses key certification programs like SOC-2, HITRUST, ISO 27001 and lay out a practical roadmap to prepare for a successful audit and how to achieve certification.
